Using an electromagnetic collar key, the flap unlocks only for authorised pets, providing greater security than a standard manual cat flap.

Ideal for installation into timber doors, uPVC panel doors and wall installations, the Cat Mate 254 features a secure 4-way locking system, battery-powered operation and a self-lining frame suitable for doors up to 60mm thick.

Electromagnetic Security

The Cat Mate 254 uses compact electromagnetic collar keys worn by your cat. When your cat approaches the flap, the electronic locking mechanism recognises the collar magnet and unlocks the door, helping to prevent access by neighbouring cats and other unwanted animals.

Unlike a standard cat flap, this controlled entry system offers extra security while remaining simple and reliable to use.

Includes Two Collar Magnets

The Cat Mate 254 is supplied with two compact electromagnetic collar keys, making it suitable for households with two cats straight out of the box. Additional compatible collar magnets are available separately if required.

4-Way Locking System

In addition to the electronic access control, the Cat Mate 254 also features a manual four-way locking system.

• Unlocked – Free entry and exit.
• Locked – Prevents entry and exit.
• In Only – Allows entry but prevents your cat leaving.
• Out Only – Allows your cat to leave but prevents re-entry.

This allows complete control over your pet's movements whenever required.

The self-lining frame is designed for doors and panels up to 60mm (2⅜") thick, making it suitable for:
